Ingredients:

9 tbsps Unsalted Butter
1.5 c Packed Light Brown Sugar
3/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
6 Firm-Ripe Bananas (peeled and cut crosswise into 3/4-inch thick slices)
1/4 c Banana Liqueur
1/2 c Dark Rum
4 big Eggs (lightly beaten)
3 c Heavy Cream
1 c Whole Milk
1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
Pinch Salt
6 c day-old French Bread (1/2-inch cubes)

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 deg. F.

Take a 10 by 14-inch baking dish and butter it using 1 tbsp of your butter. Set it aside. Take the last 8 tbsps butter & melt them over medium inside a large skillet. For about 2 minutes dissolve 1 c of brown sugar and the cinnamon and cook stirring constantly. Add the bananas and cook on both sides, turning, until bananas start to soften and brown, about 3 minutes.

Stir in and blend the banana liqueur. Shake the pan back and forth while carefully adding the rum and flaming the pan. Or while off the heat you could just ignite the rum and return it to the stove.

Baste the bananas by shaking the pan back and forth until flames subside. Let them cool by removing them from the heat. Inside a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, remaining 1/2 cup brown sugar, the cream, milk, & vanilla.

Add bread and the bananas mix thoroughly. Add to the baking dish and bake approximately 50 mins to 1 hour. Cool on a wire rack for 20 minutes. Serve Immediately.

“Choco Chip Bread Pudding For Those Chocolate Lovers”

Ingredients:

2 eggs (slightly beaten)
2 1/4 c Milk
1 tsp Vanilla,
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
2 c Day-Old Bread Cubes
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 c Brown Sugar
1/2 c Chocolate Chips
1 Container Cool Whip

Directions:

Inside a medium-sized bowl combine eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and salt. Mix in bread cubes. Stir in chocolate chips and the brown sugar. Pour mixture into a buttered baking dish. Set it into a larger pan of water on the middle oven rack. Bake it at around 350 deg. F for around 45 minutes to one hour or until when poked in the center the knife comes out clean.

Serve hot or cold with a dollop of whipped cream
