Apple Custard Puddings Recipe
Ingredients:
1 qt of apples; pared & quartered
1/2 c water
1/2 c sugar
2 tbsps butter
Grated lemon rind
Lemon juice
2 c of breadcrumbs; grated
2 Tbsps flour
2 well beaten eggs
Instructions:
Place apple pcs in stewpan w/ water then cook ’til slightly softened. You remove them form heat then add sugar, butter, rind & juice.
Combine flour & crumbs then add into apple-mixture. Add beaten eggs. Pour mixture into greased pudding dish then bake for 45 mins in moderately-heated oven. Best when served w/ sugar or cream.
