Apple Pudding Recipe II
Ingredients:
3 matzoth
3 large apples; cut into thick pcs
1/4 lb currants
1/4 lb raisins
Cinnamon
Lemon rind; thinly cut
1/4 lb of sugar (brown)
2 oz of fat; melted
6 well-beaten eggs
Instructions:
Have matzoth soaked then squeeze out water. Transfer into bowl w/ sliced apples then add fat, sugar, lemon rind, cinnamon, raisins & currants. Blend thoroughly then add eggs.
Transfer into greased bake dish then bake it in mid-heat oven. Best when served w/ rum-sauce.
