Apricot Pudding Recipe II
Ingredients:
A pint of milk
2 Tbsps Crisco
1/2 c cornstarch
1/2 c of milk
1/2 tsp of salt
1 c of apricot-jam
1 Tbsp of pistachio; chopped
Instructions:
Heat milk in saucepan then add Crisco, heat ’til boiling. Combine cornstarch & milk then add into rapidly boiling mixture. Season w/ salt.
Have jam heated then strain juice off. Add apricot pieces onto cornstarch then cook about 5 mins. You sprinkle pistachio into wetted mold then pour warm mixture in.
You turn mold out once cold then surround w/ apricot-juice.
