Baked Lemon Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
1 qt milk
2 c breadcrumbs
4 eggs; separated
1/2 stick butter
1 c of sugar (white)
Juice form 1 lemon (large)
Lemon peel; grated
4 Tbsps of sugar (powdered)
Instructions:
Have milk heated then pour it over breadcrumbs. You add butter on top, allowing it to melt. Once cooled, you beat yolks & sugar then add this into previous mixture. Add lemon peel as well.
Pour into greased dish and bake for 45-60 mins ’til browned lightly. Open oven’s door once done. Beat eggwhites ’til frothy & stiff then add powdered-sugar in, blending lightly. Use this as meringue & cover dish w/ it.
Continue baking ’til top is browned lightly.
