Batter Jam Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
A pint milk
Raspberry jam
3 large eggs; separated
2 ounces butter
3 ounces of fine wheat meal
3 ounces of cornflour
Instructions:
Rub meal & cornflour together then add some milk to smoothen. Combine rest of your ingredients except eggs, heat ’til boiling then stir onto flour-meal mixture.
Continue stirring mixture above heat for 8 mins then pour into pudding-basin & cool. Whip eggwhites ’til stiffened then add into heated mixture.
Grease pie pan then pour batter over. Thinly spread jam over, repeating layering ’til full, ending w/ batter.
Bake about 30 mins.
