Belgian Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
1 French-roll
4 apples; chopped
3 ounces sugar
1/4 pound currants
1/4 pound sultanas
Half pint milk
Nutmeg (grated)
Lemon zest
3 eggs; separated
Instructions:
Have bread soaked in milk about 60 mins. Add lemon zest, nutmeg, eggyolks, apples, sugar, currants & sultanas. Add eggwhites last then whisk together ’til stiffened.
You pour mixture into mould then boil about 2 hrs. Best when served w/ sweet-sauce.
