Bread and Butter Pudding Recipe I
Ingredients:
Butter
Thin bread slices
Sugar
Cinnamon
Apple; chopped
2 beaten eggs
1 Tbsp flour; sifted
3 c milk
Salt
Instructions:
Grease bottom & sides of deep pudding dish. Generously spread butter over bread then sprinkle w/ apples, cinnamon & sugar. Have this layered into dish.
Add flour into beaten eggs. Stir in milk then season w/ salt. You pour mixture over bread. Allow to stand about 60 mins. Slowly bake w/ cover for 45 mins.
Uncover, continue baking ’til top browns. Best when served w/ lemon-sauce & wine.
