Bread Pudding Recipe I

Ingredients:

3 pints milk
Penny-loaf; thinly sliced; crust removed
5 well beaten eggs
Nutmeg; grated
Lemon rind; shredded
1/4 lb butter
Sugar
Currans

Instructions:

Heat milk then add bread into heated milk. Cover & allow to stand ’til cold, beating well ’til lumps are broken.

Combine eggs, nutmeg, lemon rind & butter. Add some sugar. Throw in currans when desired. Place into dish then bake ’til done.
