Buckingham Pudding Recipe

Ingredients:

Flavouring (vanilla)
Sugar
3/4 pint milk
3 large eggs
4 sponge-cakes; sliced
1/4 pound ratafias
2 large eggs (separated)

Instructions:

Press ratafias into greased mould then lay sliced cakes, repeat layering ’til dish has been filled.

Separately beat eggyolks & eggwhites. Combine. You boil milk then pour onto eggs. Slightly cool then add flavouring & sugar. Pour mixture into mould.

You cover dish w/ greased paper, steam it for 60 mins. Carefully turn dish out then serve w/ jam.
