Carrot Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
3 carrots (red)
Penny-loaf crumbs
6 eggs
1/2 lb butter (clarified)
2 tsps rose-water
Shredded lemon zest
Nutmeg; grated
Wine (white)
Sugar
Butter
Instructions:
Have carrots boiled then peel. You remove red portion then beat finely w/ mortar. Add crumbs, eggs, butter, lemon peel, nutmeg, rose-water. Combine everything ’til thoroughly mixed.
Have it baked w/ puff paste round the dish. Combine sugar, butter & wine & use as sauce.
