French-Barley Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
1 qt milk
6 well-beaten eggs (set aside 3 eggwhites)
1 lb butter; melted
Orange-flower water
Salt
Nutmeg
Sugar
6 handfuls of French Barley
Instructions:
Combine beaten eggs & cream. Season w/ salt, nutmeg & sugar. Add butter & orange-flower water. Boil barley in milk ’til tender. Add this into previous mixture.
Pour into greased dish then bake ’til set.
