Rich Bread and Butter Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
French bread roll
Butter
4 eggs; separated
4 oz moistened sugar
Ratafias; soaked
1 Tbsp brandy
Currants
Milk
Instructions:
Spread a layer of thinly sliced buttered bread. Combine well-beaten eggyolks, sugar, ratafias, currants & brandy. You pour mixture into dish then pour some milk over. Repeat layering ending w/ bread & butter.
Whip eggwhites ’til frothy & stiff then spread atop pudding when baking is almost completed.
