Farina Pudding with Peaches Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 c farina
1 qt milk
Salt
Butter
4 eggs; separated
Sugar (white)
Vanilla
Peaches in can
Pulverized sugar
Instructions:
Combine butter, salt, farina & milk. Place in double-boiler then heat ’til boiling. You beat ethe eggyolks w/ sugar then add into milk mixture prior to taking it off from heat.
Thoroughly stir. Add vanilla. You separately beat eggwhites w/ pulverized-sugar ’til frothy & stiff. Slowly stir into previous mixture. Pour into greased pudding pan then arrange a single peach layer on top.
Cover w/ rest of custard. Bake. Best when served w/ rum-sauce.
