Cornstarch Pudding Recipe

Ingredients:

1 qt milk
4 Tbsps cornstarch
1 tsp salt
1/2 c milk
2 eggwhites
2 Tbsps sugar (powdered)
1/2 bottle of currant-jelly

Instructions:

Set aside 1 c milk. Place rest of the milk into double-broiler then heat. Combine salt, 1/2 c milk & cornstarch. Add this mixture onto heated milk, beating well about 2 mins.

Have your boiler covered then cook your pudding about 12 mins. You pour this into pudding pan then set aside to cool about 30 mins.

For sauce: Beat 2 eggwhites ’til frothy & stiff then add 2 Tbsps sugar. Mix to incorporate well then add jelly of choice.
