Cherry Pudding Recipe I
Ingredients:
1/2 lb stale ryebread
1 wineglassful wine (red)
2 Tbsps almonds
4 eggyolks
1/2 c sugar (powdered)
Cinnamon
1/2 lb sweet & sour cherries w/ juice; stoned
4 eggwhites
Instructions:
Wet crumbs w/ wine. You pound your almonds. Combine almonds, bread, cinnamon, sugar & eggyolks, stirring well ’til thoroughly mixed.
Add your cherries in, mixing well. Add eggwhites then lighty beat ingredients together. Pour into well-greased pudding dish. Serve cold.
