Chestnut Pudding Recipe II
Ingredients:
1 & 1/2 dozen chestnuts
Sack
Orange flower water
2 qts cream
18 eggyolks
4 eggwhites
Sugar
Butter
Instructions:
Place chestnuts in skillet filled w/ water. Heat ’til blanched. Cool then place in running water. Pound in mortar, adding sauce & orange flower water ’til fine.
Add this into cream, eggyolks, eggyolks, sack, sugar & rose water. Place into dish then stick some butter in. Bake ’til set.
