Cornmeal Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
2 pints milk
1/2 c f Indian-meal
3 well-beaten eggs
1 Tbsp flour
1/2 c sugar
1/2 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
A pinch salt
Instructions:
Have 1 pint milk boiled then gradually pour onto Indian-meal, stirring well to avoid lumps. Once cooled, add eggs, flour, sugar, ginger, cinnamon, salt & 1 pint cold-milk.
You pour mixture into greased pudding basin then bake for 90 mins. Best when served hot w/ cream.
