Date Pudding Recipes II
Ingredients:
1/2 pound plane biscuits (wholemeal)
1/2 pound dates
1 Tbsp flour (wholemeal)
2 oz butter
2 small lemons
Water
Instructions:
Grind biscuits together w/ flour gently in processor. Have dates, stoned, washed & chopped. You grate yellow-portion of lemon rind. Rub butter into powdered biscuits.
You add flour, lemon zest & dates, mixing w/ water enough t create a stiff paste.
Scoop into greased pudding basin then steam for abut 5 hrs.
