Fig Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 pound plain whole meal biscuits
Water
1/2 pound figs
2 ounces of butter
1 Tbsp flour (wholemeal)
Peel from two lemons; grated
Instructions:
Combine biscuits & flour then grind in chopper. Have your figs, chopped, stoned & washed. Grate yellow portion of lemon rind then rub butter into powdered biscuits.
Add flour, lemon rind & figs into flour mixture, adding water enough to create a stiff paste. Spooon mixture into greased mould then boil about 5 mins.
