Gooseberry Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
1 qt coddled gooseberries (green); bruised
6 large eggs
3/4 lb sugar
1/2 lb butter; clarified
Lemon peel; finely shredded
Handful bisket
1 tsp rose water
Instructions:
Rub berries through hair sieve to extract its pulp. You take 6 Tbsps pulp then combined into sugar, butter, eggs, lemon peel, rose water & biskets. Have everything thoroughly combined, adding sweeteners as desired.
Pour into pudding dish then bake.
