Green Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
Stale penny-loaf bread; grated
1/2 lb sugar
Nutmeg; grated
Salt
3/4 lb beef-suet; finely shredded
8 spinages
Sweetened hers; shredded finely
2 well-beaten eggs
Instructions:
Combine bread, nutmeg & salt. Add beef suet & herbs of choice. Blend well then add beaten eggs. Thoroughly combine then form into balls.
Boil them then serve w/ rose water, sauce or butter.
