Jelly Puddings Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c finely-shredded breadcrumbs
1 c of milk
1/2 c cream
5 well-beaten eggs; separated
1/2 tsp of baking-soda
1 c of sweet marmalade
Instructions:
Have milk scalded then pour it over breadcrumbs. Beat ’til slightly cooled then add well-beaten eggyolks, followed by eggwhites, then baking soda.
You half fill large-sized cups w/ prepared batter then bake in your oven for 30 mins.
Turn it out once done, scraping off sides. Create a slit in center then pour in conserve. Close slit & pinch its edges w/ fingers.
Served w/ sweet cream.
