Marrow Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
1 penny-loaf; crusts removed; sliced thinly
Marrow from 2 bones
1/2 lb of cleaned currans
5 well-beaten eggs
3 c milk
1/2 nutmeg; grated
Sugar
Instructions:
Have everything combined. Stir well to incorporate flavors, saving some marrow for topping. Pour mixture into pudding dish then sprinkle w/ some marrow.
Spread puffed paste around dish’s edge. Bake ’til set.
