Nut Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of nuts; chopped
2 c milk; scalded
2 eggyolks
2 chocolate squares; meted
2 eggwhites; beaten ’til stiff
Juice from a lemon
Rind from a lemon; grated
1 Tbsp crisco
1 c of softened breadcrumbs
Salt
Instructions:
Combine lemon juice, rind, chocolate, sugar, eggyolks, salt, nuts, crisco, milk & crumbs. Fold eggwhites in slowly & lightly. You pour mixture into small molds lined w/ Crisco.
Bake about 25 min. Best when served warm w/ cream.
