Orange Pudding Recipe VI
Ingredients:
2 large oranges (Seville)
8 well-beaten eggs (set aside 2 eggwhites)
1/2 lb loaf-sugar
1/2 lb butter (clarified)
4 oz of blanched almonds
Rose water
Instructions:
Have orange peel grated. You beat together eggs & sugar then add peel, butter, almonds. Heat mixture together w/ rose water then squeeze in your orange juice. Blend together well.
Pour into pudding pan w/ paste thinly spread at dish’s bottom. Bake slowly in oven.
