Pancake Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
2 ounces of wheatmeal (fine)
5 thin pancakes (cold)
3 sponge-cakes (stale); torn into pcs
Jam
2 large eggs
Vanilla
A pint milk
Instructions:
Spread pancakes w/ jam then roll up. Cut across onto slices. Grease pudding mould then arrange slices around mould’s bottom, including its sides w/ bread slightly overlapping.
You fill center w/ pieces of sponge-cakes. Combine eggs, vanilla, milk & meal. You pour batter into prepared mould then steam about 90 mins. Turn mould out once done then serve at once.
