Rye Bread Pudding Recipe
Instructions:
1/2 c rye breadcrumbs
4 eggs; separated
1/2 c sugar
Pinch cloves
Pinch all-spice
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
Rind from 1/2 lemon; grated
1/4 almonds; chopped
3 Tbsps brandy
Instructions:
Have crumbs heated in your oven to dry them out. You beat eggyolks lightly w/ sugar. Add almonds, lemon rind, cinnamon, all-spice & cloves. Gradually add in wine.
Blend stiff frothy beaten eggwhites. Pour into prepared mold then boil for 3 hrs. Best when served w/ brandy.
