Spanish Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 ounce butter
3 large eggs; separated
A pint milk
1 bottle apricot-flavored jam
8 sponge-cakes
Instructions:
Slice cake lengthwise. Have mould buttered then arrange cake slices in layers. Spread w/ jam layer on top. Repeat layering.
Beat eggyolks then add milk in. You pour this mixture all over pudding. Slowly bake in oven ’til set. Cool then carefully turn mould out.
Beat eggwhites w/ sugar ’til frothy & stiff then pipe over pudding. Best when served w/ custard.
