Squash Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
1 yellow winter-squash; pared then cut into pcs
1/4 b butter
2 crackers; pounded
1/4 c of powder sugar
1 qt milk
9 slightly-beaten eggs
1 glass wine (white)
1 glass brandy
1 glass rose-water
1 Tbsp mixed spices
Instructions:
Stew squash w/ little amount of water. Once softened a bit, drain well then mash using cullender. Transfer into pan then add butter in.
Combine milk & sugar then gradually mashed squash in. Add biscuits powder. Lightly beat eggs then gradually add into previous mixture.
Then add spices, brandy, wine & rose-water. Mix thoroughly. Have pudding baked for 45 mins in greased dish.
